I. Description and goal The Internet has rapidly grown in the past few years, nowadays, people complete different tasks online using computers, tablets, and mobile devices. These tasks include shopping, financial operations, hotel reservations, and flight bookings. Therefor, we have decided to create an online flight booking system called Hive. Hive goals to search available flight databases, compare prices, and deliver to the user the best results possible. In this project, we aim to create a workable, efficient, and easy booking system which provides several services. Il List of services 1. Search Flight The user has the ability to choose the departure date and origin as well as the arrival date and origin. Also, the user gets to choose if they would want a round trip or a one-way trip. Finally, the user can choose the number of seats and the preferred cabin class. 2. View Results This service will show results from different flight databases based on the user's chosen requirements in the Search Flight service 3. Compare prices The user will be shown different flights with different prices shown from lowest to highest prices Book Flight 5. Select seat/s This service allows the passenger to choose a seat within the chosen class. 6. Choose Additional Services Hive provides additional unique services to the passenger which allows them to choose special meals and book baggage claim ahead of time 7. Payment 8. Confirm Booking 9. Update Flight 10.Cancel Flight
