Educator Support Strategy Definition Acknowledgement and Educators praise children Praise Social and Concrete Rewards Encouragement Scaffolding Redirection Intervention to acknowledge that we value and appreciate their efforts/work and/or their behaviour. Educators encourage children to prompt their learning and develop their self esteem, confidence, resilience and persistence Educators work along side with children to help and guide them to complete a task/ or to extend their knowledge, interests or skills Educators redirecting the child's attention away from the unwanted activity/behaviour to an acceptable activity/behaviour.
