   Approaches to Handling Conflict (CH 9) and Cultural Influences on Communication (CH 5)

· Paragraph 1-5: Describe & cite each of the Approaches to Handling Conflict (also known as Strategies of Conflict Management). Please use the textbook definitions

· For each paragraph outlining a Strategy of Conflict Management, describe why any of the Cultural Orientations from CH 5 would value that method, using a definition and citation for that orientation to help clarify the connection. Note that you do not need to use both sides of the cultural spectrum!

o Reference a different cultural orientation for each of the conflict strategies. You will not use all of them.

o Write about each conflict management strategy and cultural influence in its own short paragraph.
