Select a DREAM project and write a one to two-page outline (250-500 words) using the Scope Statement Format to be found in Chapter 4 on pages 102 to 106. You may use the Snapshot from Practice Scope Statement on Page 105 as your template. As well, follow the Employing a Project Scope Checklist as outlined on Pages 102-103. Do not copy a project that was previously used by someone else, create your own. Turnitin will be used on the submission folder. Cite your sources. Projects should be relatively complex and require:

A minimum of 30 days to complete.

A minimum of 15 discrete and separate activities

The help of at least 2 other persons

The use of outside resources such as labour and equipment

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:

Moving to a new apartment (the lease contract is considered already signed).

Additionally, the old apartment has to be given back complying with all the prescribed conditions (little

repairs if needed, final cleaning) and the time contractually established.

Starting Date: February 1, 2016

DELIVERABLES:

1.Contract with Moving Companies

3.List of subjects/offices to inform about the new address

5.Keys of the new apartment

3.Confirmation of change from utility providers (for the established date) by February 15

5.Small and delicate stuff packed by February 25

6.New apartment cleaned by February 28

7.Rest of the stuff (furniture, appliances, etc.) moved March 1

8.Old apartment checked, cleaned and released by March 10

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1.Definition of duties and responsibilities of the Moving company

2.Updates (if necessary) of the utilities contracts

LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS:

1.Handling of delicate stuff is not in charge of the moving company

2.Cleaning and small repairs for the old apartment are in charge of the (leaving) tenant

CUSTOMER REVIEW:

1.Myself (for the final result and most of the deliverables)

2.The landlord of the old apartment (to check the cleanliness and good conditions of the

apartment
