Discussion: Plotting in MATLAB, Time Domain, and Phase Space $($Plotting Part $2)$

This is the second part of a two$-$week discussion. Please review Part $1$ in Module $1$ and then proceed to answer Part $2$ below. Initial discussion posts should be made by the middle of the module's week, and then return to the discussion later in the week to respond to the postings of other students.

Research the use$/$meaning of "Phase Space" in the areas of Dynamics, Fluid dynamics, Thermodynamics, Mechanics, Electricity, Astrodynamics, Atmospheric Science, Energy$/$Power systems, Optics, Quantum Physics, or others. You may also search for keywords like Generalized Coordinates, Manifolds, State Space, State Variables, and Chaos Theory.

Your task is the following:
