They say people know before they die, I think they areright. I knew what that phone call was, why did I pick up? Well, Iwould only be delaying the inevitable. All 4 of my siblings were onthe call and at that moment my heart sank. How did I know what thatphone call was? I don't know, I just knew. My older sister tried tokeep a calm face as she told us our dad was killed. I was in shock,I had spoken to him only the night before, after I wasn't incontact with him for months. How lucky I was. Sometimes I thinkback, what if I never extended that olive branch? So manyquestions, and no answer. I never saw the world the same again.Death is only certain. I wake up every day thankful and sleep lightalthough two of my siblings can't say the same, as they hadn'tspoken to him for months. I never go to bed angryanymore.
