First, let me clarify this a bit. The analytical report needs to be three pages and contain its own Reference page, including the AI generator that produced the white paper for you. Be sure to use a specialized AI tool, such as whitepapergpt, not a generic one that is probably unfamiliar with the genre.

The memo assignment was to ensure you understand a white paper enough to plan one out. I didn't have you write the white paper because of my evolving philosophy that learning how to use AI critically and effectively is more important than trying to keep people away from what can be a powerful asset in some ways. The sources you found for the memo were part of the planning project, and you're not even required to use them in your analytical report. They were sources you would have used had you written the white paper yourself. Perhaps you even fed them to the AI tool.

The analytical report itself does not need to cite those sources if it does not use them. It needs a Reference page and it needs to cite the sources it does use. Sources for the analytical report would include articles you consulted to fact$-$check the content of the white paper, and sources defining white paper qualities that you used to analyze it$.$

Ok$,$ on to the assignment for the week: In multiple sessions, work on making changes to your analytical report at the global $($revision$)$ level and at the local $($editing$)$ level. Think strategically about what resources to bring in: Writing Center? peer review? $($you would initiate this and find a peer who'd like to participate with you, off BB$)$ friend who is an APA guru? reading it out loud to your fur baby? etc.

You won't specifically turn in anything for this $($of course, always check Yes on the Writing Center's box asking if you want a report sent to your teacher, no matter what the course $--$ it shows initiative and effort$).$ However, you will be reporting on your process of revision, so I'll get to hear about what you did and how much help your different techniques ended up being to you.

Informal Report on Social Responsibility of a Business

Memo you previously emailed me in which you planned out a white paper as if you were going to write it yourself

Analytical Report $($with the AI White Paper inside of it as an Appendix$)$

Meta$-$Analysis Questions and Answers, informal but use full sentences and proper diction, grammar and spelling. These are the questions to copy and paste into a blank document and then answer.

Q$1$: Share what resources and techniques you used to help you revise at the global level $($content$,$ organization, flow, etc.$),$ and what changes you made, with specific examples.

Q$2.$ Share the same for editing at the local level $($word choices, mechanics, format$).$

Q$3.$ Tell me where you feel your writing shines the most in Packet $3,$ and where you feel it could use more work or advice.

Q$4.$ Now step back and take a few minutes to reflect on the ways in which you feel your business writing has progressed this semester overall. Please be honest. You will not be graded on whether or not you pretend to have learned things $--$ I$\text{'}$m much more appreciative of candor. : $)$

With that, the regular coursework for the term is complete.
