The procurement committee in LTUC reviewed your companys proposal and approved to give the company a meeting with the committee to give a presentation. Your company work in catering services, and your manager assigned you to go to the meeting and do a Pitch to convince the committee to give your company the deal.

  • Prepare a 3-5 minutes Pitch (presentation) to be presented for the committee
  • Your presentation should include the key elements of a successful Pitch.
  • You will make sure you have all the persuasion and strong points in your pitch that will render your pitch sacksful and land you a deal.
  • Extra points of strength might include creative methods in using images, designs and dynamic interactions through the presentation.
  1. Applying the concepts to the scenario:
  • The development of the Pitch might include three layers:
    • General Key points required for a successful pitch.
    • Applying those key points to the given Scenario and producing a presentation that provide the tender committee with an evaluation of different provided options and the weight and value of those options.
    • Performing the presentation using dynamic methods of illustration and showing skills of pitching and negotiation in front of an audience.

  • Make an assessment of the potential results and outcomes of a pitch working with two assumptions, succeeding and failing.
  • Working on the assumption that you made a successful pitch, determine how both parties to a pitch will fulfil their obligations (commitments) to the coming deal. Explain different approaches by the two parties to a number of resulting examples.

  • You will work here in two assumptions resulting from your pitch to LTUC college procurement committee:
    1. You win the deal (successful pitch or negotiation): in this case you will describe the outcome of this pitch and any follow up negotiations and what documents could be used to assure the fulfilment of obligations of all parties.
    2. You lost the pitch: In this case you should also describe the outcomes of the pitch and make suggestions of how enhancements could be made to assure success in the future.
  • Regardless of the assumption made above you should describe the best methods used to protect all parties rights, and what governs the relations and obligations and minimize risks to the parties involved (contracts is one method, think of others).
