The roof framing of a small building, shown at the left, is framed with $2x$ wood joists, laminated wood beams $($Glu$-$Lam$)$ and a Glu$-$Lam girder.

Glu$-$Lam members are made of $1-\frac{1}{2}"$ individual plys with widths measuring $3-\frac{1}{8}",5-\frac{1}{8^{\text{'}\text{'}}},6-\frac{3}{4^{\text{'}\text{'}}}$ and $8-\frac{3}{4^{\text{'}\text{'}}}$
