The Academy has been in existence for almost seven years and has been able to raise a football club, basketball team and several other groups of sporting disciplines. The football club for instance, has within five years topped the local leame twice, having defended the title once and also come scoond on the league table at another time. This is an enviable feat by such a new club vis-a-vis the the old clubs in the country. The vision of the Chief Executive Officer of the Academy, Mr. Mark Zolali, is to build a formidable world class soccer team that can compete anywhere in the world and also produce some of the finest footballers and goalkeepers in Ghana, Africa and beyond. His mission is to instill discipline, hard work, dedication and determination in the functional groups and sporting teams within the Academy in order to ensure efficiency and productivity. The functional groups were empowered to oversee the administration of the Academy while the sporting teams were motivated to perform to the utmost. Over the years, the Academy became the envy of its competitors in the sporting sector. It became noted for distinguished accomplishments with a dedicated staff who had distinct knowledge of their roles and what is expected of them. The functional groups had their work well defined and so there was no ambiguity. Both functional groups and the sporting teams knew the vision and mission of the Academy and worked towards it, driving high performance. The establishment of mouth-watering rewards and benefits for distinguished performance as well as high remunerations, were clearly communicated to motivate the functional groups and sporting teams within the Academy.
