3. Create ERD model

 

You need to create new model in MySQL workbench. You just need to screenshot the ERD models ( make sure it is clear and I can see all the attributes of each table and data type)

Scenario: Online Product Catalog

A digital platform for an online product catalog needs a database to organize information about various products, manufacturers, and customers. Here's a description of the components.

Each product is uniquely identified by a product code and has a name, description, and price.

Manufacturers are identified by a manufacturer code and have a name and location (city and country).

Customers have a customer ID, name, and contact information (email and phone number).

Orders have an order number, date, and total amount.

Each order includes a selection of products and the quantity of each product in the order.

Products are associated with manufacturers.

Customers place orders, and each order contains one or more products.

Manufacturers produce various products.

Customers place orders to purchase products.

 

 

 

1. please create a database design using the entity relationship diagram. State clearly any assumptions that you may want to make.
2. Convert the entity relationship diagram created into a set of relation schemas(you do not need to insert data and do forward engineer, just based on the tables write few SQL query, at least 3).

 

Make sure you write your main entities on each table, the attribute and relationship between them.
