3. Explain the diffusion process. When The first commercial industrial robots were developed in the 1960s, and in the 1980s many believed that robots would replace most forms of manual work. However, in 1995 the density of robots in use the number of robots per 10000 workers was only 21 in the UK, 33 in the United States, 69 in Germany, and 338 in Japan. This raises two questions: Why has the diffusion of robots been so slow, and why are there such large differences in the rates of diffusion in different countries? Explain your view with reasoning.
