3. Foa, Rothbaum, Riggs and Murdock (1991) ran a study to determine the effects of Stress Inoculation Therapy (SIT) on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They hypothesized that SIT would reduce PTSD symptom. They recruited 15 clients who exhibited similar PTSD symptoms. They were measured at pretreatment, posttreatment, and a 3.5-month follow up.
