3: Programs - Vision - Mission CoroMatrix (CM) is a Boston, Massachusetts-based biotechnology company founded by three friends: one from BU, one from Harvard and one from MIT. The BU student was a MS Project Management major who took courses in project, program and portfolio management, and was the business brain behind CM. The other two students are molecular biology students with expertise in genomics. The three met at Boston while doing their master's degree. The founders of CoroMatrix leveraged their own creative ideas and all available published research in genomics to develop a possible vaccine against SARS and Covid-19. They believe that soon they might be able to contribute to emerging research. Their companies' mission is to save lives and improve the quality of life through state-of-the-art research in containment and treatment of infectious diseases such as SARS and Covid-2019. Building upon the relatively new science of genomics and DNA-based vaccination, CoroMatrix hopes to quickly produce vaccination solutions.
