Purpose

2. Complete this Case Study assignment:
   1. Review the Merck & Co. and River Blindness case study at the end of Chapter 4 in Baldwin et al. (2013).
   2. Answer the four questions at the end of the case study.
3. Complete this Ethical Decision Making Process assignment:
   1. Identify the six steps in the ethical decision making process.
   2. Identify an ethical dilemma or issue that is relevant to the healthcare environment.
   3. Apply the ethical decision making process steps to the healthcare dilemma or issue you identified.
   4. Identify which of the three major ethical theories is most relevant to your example.
4. Complete this Video Reflection and Reaction assignment:
   1. Describe an ethical issue you might face as a manager of a healthcare delivery facility or a department of a healthcare education or services program, based on what you have learned and observed to date.
   2. Explain how you will incorporate what you have learned from the textbook (Baldwin et al. 2013) and the two videos to respond to the ethical issue you might encounter.
5. Compose a document which includes your responses to each of the assignment parts above.
