Each group will present their proposal to the class. 5.2 Each group will submit the following documents: Project Proposal 5.3 Request for Proposal: To whom it may concern: The Central University of Technology is seeking proposals from contractors with relevant experience to develop a feasibility analysis on prospective student accommodation. The CUT is investigating the potential to build additional student accommodation in King Edward Road 24, Willows, Bloemfontein. The plot will consist out of 4 student houses. The student houses must run of Solar Power. The solar panels are to be allocated on top of a flat roof for each house. The standard electrical appliances in the house consist out of a 2 plate stove, 25 | geyser and a 1701 fridge. Building requirements: 1. House measurements: Length=6m Breath =5m Height =3m 3 windows of same measurements 2. Each house will consist out of: A single bedroom Bathroom Open plan kitchen and living room 6m 00 w 5m 1 Geyser The Objectives of this project are: Do a Feasibility Analysis according to the following sections. Each section must be thoroughly investigated with calculations to indicate the feasibility where possible. 1. Economic Aspects of Renewable energy source evaluation 2. Basic concepts 3. Basic Methods for natural resource evaluation 4. Basic economic Problems 5. Cost-benefit analysis 6. Economic impact Analysis Background Student accommodation is required for the fast-growing university. CUT aims to minimise the impact on the environment and be more eco-friendly. Statement of Work: The contractor will perform the following tasks: Task 1: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the economic aspects Task 2: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the basic concepts Task 3: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the basic method for natural resource evaluation Task 4: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the basic economic problems 11 Task 5: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the cost-benefit analysis Task 6: Develop a feasibility analysis regarding the economic impact analysis Requirements: 1. The feasibility analysis must meet all the objectives 2. The feasibility analysis must include all costs for building the housing. 3. The analysis must be for the entire plot of housing Deliverables: A detailed project proposal on the feasibility analysis Acceptance criteria The proposal meets all the objectives and requirements and is cost effective.
