Elecnor will build the first wind farm in Kuwait together with Alghanim International. The project includes the engineering, construction and installation of 5 wind turbines of 2 MW each and connection to a substation of 132 kV. The wind power facility will be located in the Shagaya Renewable Energies Park and will have capacity to generate 10 MW. This wind farm will have an installed capacity of 2,055 MW in 2030. It forms part of the Government's plan to produce 15% of its total energy needs from renewable sources
