8 Group Activity - Budget Management When Eval Life Happens Always Comfortable Furniture is a furniture manufacturing company that specializes in ergonomic furniture for home and office use. It employs 1,750 employees; 116 employees are supervisors and managers who supervise other employees. Of these 116 individuals, 90 are floor supervisors and 26 are department managers (from 7 different operational units). As part of its effort to ensure that managers are effective facilitators of their employees learning, and development, the organization has designed, developed, pilot tested, and implemented a new 8-hour workshop for the 116 supervisors. Over the past 9 months, all the supervisors and managers have participated in the training. Four sessions were offered; 25 to 30 individuals were in each session. The director of the organizational learning now wants to evaluate the extent to which the training has affected the trainees' ability to effectively support their employees' learning and development goals.
