Your blog must include:

A cover page that clearly communicates your topic and audience

A letter to your readers $(3$ short paragraphs$)$

An information paragraph on your topic

A summary of a book, website, movie, or show about your topic

Part $1$: Picking your topic

Brainstorm topic ideas.

Zine topics can cover anything. It can be your favourite athlete, musician or actor, a social justice issue that is

important to you, a place to offer advice, or your favourite hobby.

Pick something that you are passionate and knowledgeable about.

Part $2$: Cover Page

Now that you know what your topic is$,$ design a cover page that will attract your reader. It needs to clearly

communicate what your topic is and be visually appealing to your target audience.

Answer the following questions to help you brainstorm ideas:

Who is my target audience?

What visual elements will attract my target audience and connect to my topic?

Example: pictures, font types, colours

What can I use to create my cover?

Example: printed pictures from the computer, stickers, hand drawn elements, markers, pencil crayons, etc.
