The total mass of the box (with the disks in it) is mbox = 15kg and it is attached to one end of a string The massless string passes through a massless pulley and on the other end a block of mass 3kg is attached. The coefficients of kinetic and static frictions are Mk = : 0.21 and m = Ms 0.65 respectively. A student starts to remove the disks one at a time until the system starts to move.
