A core sample was obtained from a new discovery sandstone reservoir. The sample was sent to the LABCORE company to investigate the rock properties of the reservoir. In the lab, 60 gm of the core sample were sited in a mercury pump and found to have 0.61 cc of gas volume. Also, 90 gm of the core plug was sited in a retort and found to hold 3 cc of water and 5 cc of oil.
