A researcher is interested in testing two drugs for effectiveness in reducing high blood pressure. Each drug is available in both pill and liquid form. There are therefore four possible treatments: Treatment 1: drug A in pill form Treatment 2: drug B in pill form Treatment 3: drug A in liquid form Treatment 4: drug B in liquid form The measured variable in the experiment is the percentage decrease in blood pressure 15 minutes after administration of the drug. The researcher anticipates finding differences among these treatments. Twenty persons suffering from high blood pressure are selected randomly and randomly divided into four groups of five persons each. Each group is then assigned randomly a treatment. i.
