A resistor is an electronic component used to adjust current flow in a circuit. Resistors are marked with color bands that tell how many units of resistance they have $($called ohms, symbolized by the Greek letter $\backslash$Omega $).$

The first three bands signify a three$-$digit number. The fourth band tells how many zeros follow that three$-$digit number $($what power of $10),$ and the fifth band tells how accurate the resistance is$.$ In this program, we will use only the first four bands.
