A response to my peer who stated stated she had a positive experience and this course taught her the importance of leadership principles, and how to understand effective leadership styles, approaches, and strategies. According to Kara, she has come to understand how to develop effective communication skills, weather that is verbal or written communication. Kara has also enjoyed reading other students discussion boards, and there take and understanding of the material. It is always nice to see things from a different perspective.$$

$2.$ What were some of the challenges you faced in this course, and how did these challenges help you prepare for challenges in today's VUCA world of work? How do you think future courses will help you deepen your ability to work in the VUCA world? $$

My peer, Kara, stated that some of the challenges that she faced were time management. She stated that she was doing her MBA full$-$time, with another class to focus on as well, on top of her job. She also found it a bit challenging to analyze her own leadership styles, since she has never been in a managerial role in her career, so she found it difficult to figure out her leadership style. Every week each assignment seemed to build upon the leadership toolkit, which she found to be extremely helpful. My peer, Kara stated that she feels after taking this course she has gained the knowledge, skills, and confidence to become a more effective leader in my career path.

$3.$The fourth industrial revolution has introduced early advances on the internet of things; artificial intelligence $($AI$)$; and the production of smart equipment that can analyze, diagnose, and fix issues without the need for human intervention. How do these complex technological developments challenge leaders to adapt their leadership style and behavior? $$ My peer, Kara suggested that the fourth industrial revolution developments challenge leaders to adapt their leadership style and behavior because she think it will force leaders to understand modern technologies. Leaders have to be technological savvy, and willing to learn emerging technologies. The fourth industrial revolution needs leaders to be flexible to the rapid changes in customer needs that it may bring.

$4.$ Considering those challenges, what do you want to learn to help prepare you to lead more effectively? How will your future work in this program benefit you and the people you lead?$$ My peer, Kara stated that to lead more effectively She would like to learn how to have a more global mindset. She has chosen to do the MBA program with a concentration in Healthcare Management, and shes looking forward to understanding healthcare from a more business perspective, and how healthcare works globally. Throughout her MBA journey she wants to stay informed about global trends and recognizing the impact of global events on the healthcare industry.
