A study finds that the average U.S. driver languished in rush-hour traffic for 36.1 hours. This congestion also wasted approximately 2.81 billion gallons in fuel, or roughly three weeks' worth of gas per traveler. John Farnham, a research analyst at an environment firm, is stunned by some of the report's conclusions.
