Question:
A survey conducted on behalf of the Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC), found that many people in Canada have seen their stress levels double since the onset of COVID-19, with fears over physical well-being and personal finances cited as the primary reasons. Nearly 40 percent reported that their mental health is worse or somewhat worse than before the outbreak. But, despite their self-awareness, more than three in four people reported that, over the last month (May 2020), they have almost never or never sought mental health information online. Requirement: Find / research and write three articles (for eg. newspaper or magazine article) dealing with an issue with direct and explicit relevance to mental health and employee benefit plans. An article is not a chapter review, it is not a web-based advertisement for an organization that does "management stuff", or the like. The article must have some academic credibility and be related to HRM. Select an article [from either a paper or electronic/internet-based source] from the media [like a newspaper -Globe and Mail, National Post, Benefits magazine, New York Times, or credible magazine -The Economist, New York Times, Canadian Business, Report on Business] or some academic source (Harvard Business Review). Check the Library database.
For each article your paper must have 3 sections [as a minimum, with clearly identified heading and subheadings, as necessary]: 1. Describe: Identify the source/article, state the title, name(s) of author - a summary [in your words] of the article explaining what is discussed and the purpose of the Article; 2. Analyze: theory part - what part of the course and concepts are most related and applicable to the article and why and how; you need to find research in support of your discussion; 3. Reflect: your general analysis of what the article says - your interpretation and critique, how you could use this information, what needs exploration, HR practice, etc
