A SYSTEM ANALYSIS: NEW HOUSE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MAHAMMAD JUNAID KHAN DR. MONTAGUE MIS 481 10/07/2016 Background Information There has been 7 houses which were built in the early 1990's. These houses are old, occupying a large space and are unattractive. The population in the town has increased significantly, which calls for a construction of more houses that are spacious, modern and in line with the needs of the people. In addition, there needs to be an ample parking yard for the people living in these houses. Therefore, these factors strongly call for the construction of three 4-unit brick three floor story houses. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project will involve the demolition 7 small houses from the 1990's and the construction of three 4-unit brick modern townhouses and associated parking for 30 cars. The buildings will be three stories high with full basements and will cover 9, 000 square feet of the 2.5 acre site. The site is located at the edge of a residential neighborhood with below median rents, along West Street, a major mixed use arterial, which leads to the downtown core of the city.
