A system uses 32-PAM modulation to transmit data at a rate of 5000 bits/sec over a given distorting band-limiting channel with the following frequency response: 1 - c(f) (1 + |f1/800) 0 , Ifl≤ 800 , else If the noise at the receiver is AWGN, design TX and RX filters for achieving zero ISI using the Raised Cosine pulse. What is the closed-form expression for the SNR loss compared to a non- distorting band limiting channel.
