CASE STUDY Amanda and Justin: Standout Performance Amanda was hired by a large, multinational food service company based in the United States. She had just received her degree in food service management and thought she would be assigned to one of the company's food service operations. Amanda made a positive impression on her first day in the training program. She was punctual, dressed professionally, and was very attentive to the program. She participated in sessions and interacted well with other trainees. At the social functions she networked well with man- agers and operators.
