AA footbridge is constructed using NEC ECC main Option B and secondary options X$2,$ X$15$ and X$21.$ There are no additional Compensation Events or Client Liabilities stated in the contract Data. The Contractor$$s Head Office is not in the same country as the site. The Contractor is responsible for designing the whole of the works. The period for reply is $3$ weeks.

The Project Manager gives an instruction changing the Scope which is weather dependant. the contractor plans to do the additional work in the winter and includes time risk allowance of $4$ days as the additional work cannot be carried out below a certain temperature. The Project Manager responds to the Contractor$$s submission within the time allowed informing the Contractor that the Compensation Event will be assessed by the Project Manager after the work is complete on the basis of the Actual Defined Cost plus the resulting fee.
