About the pilot character as a war hero in Hell's Angels and/or the originality of Howard Hughes as a film director/aircraft designer as presented in The Aviator. For the first possibility, think about the main character traits of the pilot hero, the principal scenes that define him as a hero, and/or his relationship with other military personnel. Discuss how WWI is represented in either of these films and how aviation in film has progressed thus far. Make sure your post is critical; this does not mean it should be a negative review of the film, although you may want to criticize it. Instead, pay attention to how it is structured, how characters are developed, and what messages about aviation it may send.
