Question:
The Illinois State University Alumni Association is having two Baseball Day events this year. The purpose of the events is to both foster relationships between ISU alums and to also raise money for the Alumni Association. The Alumni Association has asked you to utilize Excel form using techniques learned in Session 8. One game will be held at Busch Stadium in St Louis and feature the St. Louis Cardinals vs the Chicago Cubs and the other will be at Wrigley Field and feature the Chicago Cubs vs the Chicago White Sox. The alum will be able to purchase up to eight tickets for each game. The alum can also purchase tickets for both games if they desire.
Here is the relevant information:
1. The cost per ticket is $35 each for the Cardinals - Cubs game. In addition, the purchaser may upgrade all of their tickets to this game to "all inclusive" which includes all the food and drinks they can consume. The cost to upgrade to the all-inclusive tickets is an additional $20 per ticket.
2. The cost per ticket is $40 each for the Cubs - White Sox game. In addition, the purchaser may upgrade all of their tickets to this game to "all inclusive" which includes all the food and drinks they can consume. The cost to upgrade to the all inclusive tickets is an additional $30 per ticket.
3. In addition, the Alumni Association would like add an option for the alum to make a one time donation (not a donation for each game) to the Illinois State University Alumni Association. The optional amounts to donate are $0, $50, $100, $150, $200, or $250.
4. Make sure you use appropriate labels so the alum understands the choices.
The form must include at least one combo box, one group box, radio buttons and at least one check box.
As part of this interface, there should be a summary box at the bottom of the form that gives the alum an itemized breakdown of their total cost for each game (separate cost for the tickets, the additional cost of the all-inclusive option), the amount of the alumni donation as well as a grand total.
