A customer has placed an order for 2 emergency dinghies that Ship Builders manufacture. However, Ship Builders currently has none in stock and therefore they must manufacture them. The required raw materials to manufacture emergency dinghies and its parts are listed below. Each emergency dinghy should be accompanied by to oars. The oars are manufactured in different processes and each oar is consists of a blade, a handle and two screws. A review of the inventory has also identified that Ship Builders have some of the required raw materials in their stock which is presented in front of each item below. Based on the above scenario you are required to document a bill of materials in table format (not in SAP). In addition, you need to demonstrate that you have understanding of the bill of materials, procurement, sales, and production processes. Things you need to consider and document: What are the material types, for each of the materials present? What would the BOM consist of? What would the sales order consist of? What would the purchase order document consist of? Draw the process model to produce two dinghies from receiving customer purchase order to good receipt in the storage. Show data objects (representing forms and documents used and created through the process) and data storages (where you store data in a system) if necessary.
