A pyramid whose base is a regular hexagon of side 40mm and has a height of 80mm is positioned in such as way that the vertical plane of one base diagonal is parallel to the Front Picture Planc. A cutting plane, which is perpendicular to the Front Picture Plane, but inclined t the horizontal picture planc at 30° (not 150%), cuts the axis of the pyramid at mid-height. A 5 frustum of the pyramid remains below the cutting planc. In this position, the Frustrum is titled the clockwise direction until the cut surface is horizontal.
Using a suitable scale and drawing to first angle orthoragraphic projection, draw:
i) The front, left side and top views of the frustrum of the pyramid
ii) The tilted front, left side and top view of the frustrum
iii) The development of the frustrum (assume its hollow)
iv) The isometric view of the titled frustrum showing clearly the most comprehensive view.
