Let us assume that the City adapted the following alternatives:

1. Composting of organic wastes: 50% of the current Food wastes of 230,822 tons and 20% of the current Yard trash of 505,928 tons (see Table 2) will be composted.
2. Increase the recycling percentage of the following products: Cardboard from 29% to 70%, and Office paper from 11% to 70% (see Table 2).
3. Increase the composition of Mixed MSW as follows: shift 100,000 tons of mixed MSW from landfill to combustion, i.e., reduce the amount of landfill to 373,539 tons and increase the amount of combustion to 302,945 tons.
