This is a roleplay activity to be conducted in groups of three to four, with you playing the role of

the manager and your peers playing the role of the relevant stakeholders.

Refer to your findings from Activity 1C and effectively communicate the actions you must carry

out in order to meet the requirements of the health and safety representative.

You must cover the following points:

? The necessity to ensure health and safety notices are clearly visible in all work areas

? The requirement to clearly communicate that PPE will be available at all times within the

store, including gloves and high visibility jackets

? The requirement to clearly communicate that actions taken to resolve issues such as lift

maintenance work will be recorded and filed safely on the premises

? Must confirm that a cleaner will be employed to clean the stockroom area on a regular

basis.

Activity 1C This activity does not require observation. Refer to Case Study 13 Risk assessment Using the information in the case study, write a report (approx 200 words) which documents the actions the manager must take to ensure they are complying with health and safety regulations.
