Activity: Install Oracle Virtual Box and create a Windows $10$ Enterprise VM

$1.$ Install Oracle Virtual box based on your Operating System $($i$.$e$.,64-$bit or $32-$bit$)$

$2.$ Install the VM Virtual box.

$3.$ Download Windows $10$ from the official website.

$4.$ After downloading the ISO file, open the virtual box and create a new virtual

machine. You may use the below screenshots or any online guideline to install the

virtual machine.

$5.$ Allocate disk capacity of at least $20$ GB to avoid storage problems and Keep the RAM

at least $2-$GB for better performance.

$6.$ Now run the VM$.$

$7.$ Click on the browse option and Select the Windows Enterprise ISO image file.

$8.$ The selected ISO file name will appear, now click on $$Choose$.$

$9.$ Select the custom installation option.

$10.$ After that follow the on$-$screen instructions to install Windows. Windows installation

setup is completed and the VM is ready, let$$s start the VM and login to the Windows

$10$ VM$.$

a$.$ When adding the users to the OS$,$ the Students MUST Add the VIT student

number as the user name and $$root$$ as the password.

$11.$ Shutdown the VM and add the below network interfaces using virtual machine

settings.

$12.$ use the following settings:

$$ Adapter $1$:

oEnable Network Adapter

o Attached to: NAT

$$ Adapter $2$:

o Enable Network Adapter

o Attached to: Internal Network

o Name: intnet

$13.$ Then run Windows $10$ VM and write down what are the IP addresses assigned to Windows $10.$
