Addiction Prevention Program

Consider the six strategies listed by the CSAP previously (i.e., information dissemination, education, alternatives, problem identification and referral, community-based approaches, and environmental approaches). Decide on a specific addiction for which you will design a prevention program (alcohol addiction, drugs, smoke, gambling, internet, sex, romantic relationship, food, exercise, shopping, or work addiction). Now decide upon the age bracket that you will target with your program and other important delimiters (e.g., for middle-school boys, for high school students at my church). Write down the primary goal of your program (i.e., abstinence, reduction in use, harm reduction). Now beside each of the six strategies, write one idea that you could implement that might have a positive impact on your chosen addiction
