After analyzing their process and coming up with some possible solutions, Menards could look atthe sustainability of this. Are their thought processes with each solution feasible? Is the solution a long term fix or simply a band aid solution? Once a sound fix has been decided upon, successful implementation is key. This implementation is one way Menards can achieve continuous improvement. From this project I have learned that every company, no matter the functionality, should be centered around effective quality management. No company does everything to the best of its ability. There is always room for growth. When a company works toward continuous improvement, they are more likely to achieve effective quality management. Continuous improvement promotes employee engagement, lowers employee turnover, drives a proactive learning culture, improves customer service, and allows for a greater competitive advantage. (Skhmot, 2017) When you consider all of these things together, your end result is a quality centered company, which has the ability to go far in their target market.
