For Activity 13 on the work breakdown structure, various contractors could not agree on the duration. Mr Nxumalos Technology Services estimated 4 days, but Stans Hardware Services said it would take 12 days. The project manager then solicited a third opinion, and Sparks Computing Services suggested that it would take 5 days.

The project manager suggested using the PERT estimation technique to best estimate the duration of activities in line with the approved completion duration of 90 days.
