After my predecessor left, I created an automated process to take the data inputs and visualized the results in graphs and figures to highlight compliance rates. This made it clear what sites were hitting the expected 80% compliance and what sites were not. What also became evident was that there were sites that were not submitting their monthly audits, which were not previously identifiable. Some of the managers at the non-compliant sites have even reached out and identified that they didn't even know how to complete the audits or that they were supposed to complete them! While some managers are not thrilled that I'm making them do their job, others have really appreciated the improved quality of reporting that helps them do their job better. Through improved quality metrics, sites can identify trends and gaps in their safety practices and make changes in a timely manner to address the deficiencies
