After the retirement of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Consultow Company, a global multinational corporation, and after months of interviews, consultations, and negotiations, the Board of Directors have settled on you to become the new CEO! You worked under the former CEO as a Senior Vice President for five years, so the latest news comes as a good development for your career progress.
The Board now wants a glimpse at what to expect from your tenure and stewardship. They have, consequently, asked for a report on how you intend to lead the company. Luckily enough, you just graduated from university with a business degree and aced the Organizational Design and Analysis course.
Use your knowledge of the company of which you have been part for many years as well as the concepts learned in this course and Analysis course to craft a 6-8 page report for the Board.

Use the following questions as a guide to help you when writing your paper. Not all questions need to be addressed in your paper since it is a 6-8 page report.
- What are the metrics that are critical in attracting and retaining high-performing employees? Provide examples.
- How often will your personal connections impact recruitment and selection of leaders? Is it okay for the rest of the employees to use a recommendation from a current employee in the selection process?

- Consulted company is a global organization with branches in Africa, Europe, and the US. Therefore, you have a lot of virtual teams and meetings. How will you run team meetings for maximum effectiveness?
