Agile project management approaches differ from other project management approaches because knowledge for the project to succeed is not available when the project is chartered and scheduled (McLaughlin, 2022, p. 134). Customer satisfaction is achieved based on frequent, continuous delivery of newly prototyped services and processes through adaptation to change and circumstance (McLaughlin, 2022, p. 134). An Agile approach to project management pairs well with continuous quality improvement initiatives for health care organizations because of its' ability to adapt and easily incorporate changes with continued attention to excellence and design, and because of the ability to interact and collaborate with customers, as well as leverage cross-functionality within the organization. Prototypes are the principal progress of measure; the focused question is "does it meet expected performance?" (McLaughlin, 2022, p. 134)
