The Organizational Chart

The organizational chart depicts the positions in a firm and the way they are arranged. The chart provides a picture of the reporting structure $($who reports to whom$)$ and the activities that are carried out by different individuals.

This activity is important because an organizational chart provides a lot of information including the different work done within the organization, the work performed by various units, the reporting and authority relationships, and the levels of management.

The Cupcake Kingdom, a bakery offering a wide variety of baked goods but specializing in cupcakes, has gone through significant growth over the past $10$ years and now includes many employees in the main office, multiple retail locations, and a warehouse from which all of the baking and catering is done. The owner, Colleen Jenkins, realized the need to provide an organizational chart so that the employees can visualize the relationships and connections between departments. The goal of this activity is to complete Colleen's organizational chart.
