of points $B$ and $C$ and indicate if they are to the left or to the right $($you can use words or an

arrow $-$ I prefer the latter$).$ It is a good idea to find the deflection at $C$ first since you need it to

find the total deflection at $B.$ Watch your statics. Bar $1($BC$)$: $L_1=16$ inches, $E_1=4000$ksi,$A_1=1i{n}^2.$
