Alli is a Mechanical Engineering background and specialise in Material Joining. He works 10 years in his company JV Company, ADV Venture Sdn Bhd which focus on the material fabrication. One day, his Boss Mike, call him and ask to upgrade him to Managerial level and transfer him to one of their company subsidiaries, in Northern Region. The company including 120 manpowers, lost in last three years, RM 1million in 2019, RM500,000 in 2018 and RM1.2 million in 2017, involved in mushroom farming and frozen chicken production. And Alli has three years to change this company with the target profit around RM200,000. i) Suggest to Alli on his decision to Mike based on intrinsic and extrinsic decision.(8 marks) ii) Based on Fayol theory, propose to Alli how he will run the subsidiary company with the focusing on the elements of system thinking, engineering marketing, technology and product life cycle by appropriate examples.(17 marks)
