Alternative Dispute Resolution

Alternative dispute resolution $($ADR$)$ is used to resolve disputes outside of the judicial system. The use of ADR has increased substantially over the last few decades as businesses and individuals look for more time$-$ and cost$-$efficient methods to resolve disputes. The most common forms of ADR are arbitration and mediation, but other alternatives $($including ADR in cyberspace$)$ may appeal to the disputing parties as well.
