1. An economic topic of interest & interesting to you. So, time to make it into a question or inquiry understood by someone who is your "manager" (aka your parents or grandparents) OR your "direct reports" (aka your kids, nieces/nephews, or a local Dennis the Menace).
2. Make sure your economic/business question is not too small (can be easily done in a week or two) nor too large (would be at the level of a thesis or graduate degree). I will help you with this definition (aka project scope). In your work or the business world, this "focus" is typically done by your immediate manager or your client contact.

Keep in mind: A good economic question should be simplified, never overly simple.

For Reflect #2, time to d o a bit of research to find if others have already worked on this economic question & do some background research. At a minimum, Reflect #2 Assignment submissionwill include 3 peer-reviewed articles or unbiased sourcesrelated to explaining or understanding the context of your economic question.
