An Introduction to an Annotated Bibliography Your task is to write a BRIEF introduction to your annotated bibliography. Directions: 1. Your introduction should be in MLA format. 2. Your introduction should be ONE page or LESS in length. 3. Your introduction should identify the topic you have chosen to research. 4. Your introduction should briefly EXPLAIN the point of view from the OPPOSING SIDES of your topic. For example, after identifying your topic, you might first explain the viewpoint of those people on one side of the argument. Then you might explain the viewpoint of those people on the other side of the argument. 5. Finally, your introduction should include your POINT OF VIEW and/or what you have learned from your research. 6. Your introduction should be the first page of your final project, so it will be the only page with the header. For example, only the first page will have in the upper left-hand corner your name, your instructor's name, the course, and the date.
