It led the new era of mobile communication and had set it monopoly. Around 2008-09, it started to get in the saturation stage and there were no other developments in Nokia as far as new product lines were considered. Apple was in market but it was still for the elite to buy. Then suddenly the era of android phones came in to market with different features. Nokia didn't pay attention and within 2 to 3 years android phones had been able to overthrown to Nokia from the mobile market globally and lastly Microsoft bought the Nokia.
